Med Advantage Boasts Perfect Score On NCQA Audit

Med Advantage, an industry-leading Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), announced its ninth (9) newly earned two-year National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) certification. After rigorous on- and off-site evaluations, the company knocked it out of the park on August 30, 2011, receiving 10 out of the 10 verification services.
With self-proclaimed “demanding” requirements, NCQA scrutinizes CVOs every two (2) years in areas including license to practice, hospital privileges, DEA/CDS registration, board certification/residency completion/medical school graduation, malpractice insurance, malpractice claims history, applications processing, NPDB query, sanctions against license and Medicare/Medicaid sanctions. Only the cream of the crop earns certification in all ten categories.
